Why does High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) work?
HIIT is an amazing way to melt fat, grow your fitness base, and become healthier in less time. HIIT works because high intensity effort is what causes your body to respond the fastest.
How does SWEAT work?
SWEAT Bootcamp is a blocked format that consists of strength, capacity, and accessory. Members can start at any block and they rotate to each block with a warm-up and cool down apart of their hour
Is SWEAT Bootcamp the same as CrossFit?
No SWEAT is more similar to a bootcamp Orange Theory Style Interval training Class. However, since you will have access to both the workouts coincide so you can do both!
Why does the "afterburn" of high intensity fitness help you lose weight faster?
Your body requires energy (calories) to build, rebuild, and generally sustain. HIIT workouts like our SWEAT Boot Camp class will require your body to use more energy not only during but after the class as well! This is why weight loss is so rapid with a good diet and HIIT workouts like SWEAT.
I heard SWEAT Boot Camp class is a really fun way to workout... what is SWEAT?
SWEAT combines the power of functional movements with the regime of traditional strength and conditioning. Each week of training consists of Full-Body and Push x Pull days with special weekend Squat focus.
How does HIIT / CrossFit help lose weight and build muscle so fast?
HIIT and CrossFit both work really well because they're forms of high intensity workouts. To put it simply, you body adapts faster to higher intensity work (even if it's shorter time!) Don't worry - high intensity is relative and our coaches will make sure you're having fun!
Do you help with nutrition and diet?
As we all know, nutrition and diet are the cornerstones to overall health and wellness. We have nutrition coaches and advisors on staff if you seek that help!
What kind of workouts do you do?
Both SWEAT Boot Camp and our CrossFit classes use a type of fitness training called HIIT. HIIT workouts give your body the ultimate workout in the shortest amount of time (and they're really fun too!)

Well - that would depend where you are coming from. We're located in Overland Park, Kansas and central to everyone in the Olathe, Leawood, and Mission areas of Kansas.
Do I have to stop eating donuts?
Do enjoy special indulgences and meals. It’s a lifestyle, but it has to be manageable and realistic for the long-term. Luckily, the healthier you eat, the healthier you tend to want to eat. You get hooked on feeling good and junk food just isn’t worth it. By avoiding excessive amounts of refined carbohydrates and measuring your intake of protein, carbohydrates, and fat, you will see dramatic, measurable increases in health.
What kind of results will I see from CrossFit?
Be patient. Results take time but if you’re consistent, they absolutely will come. The exciting thing as a beginner is that results come fairly quickly, even in 30 days you can really see a difference in your strength and overall fitness.
How often should I come to CrossFit classes?
2-4 classes a week is realistic for beginners, depending on your level of fitness when you start. It may take a while for your body to get used to training at that intensity, so at the beginning, you might need more recovery time between training days. Over the first few months, start working your way up to training 5 days a week.
Do I have to be fit to Crossfit?
No. CrossFit is the program that will get you in shape. No matter what your current fitness level is, you can start CrossFit. As you become fitter, workouts will become more challenging. Every workout is designed to help you succeed, improve fitness, and move you toward your goals. CrossFit is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience.
Can I get hurt doing Crossfit?
To be fair, you can get hurt walking up stairs. However, CrossFit uses safe, effective, and efficient movements similar to those you use in everyday life. CrossFit is also instructed under the watchful eye of a professional coach.
Do I get the chance to meet new friends?
Yes. We like to organize our fitness classes into small groups, as this allows you to meet others.
How often do you recommend coming to workout classes?
If you are a beginner, we recommend starting with 2 to 4 classes a week, with the goal of working up to 5 a week after your first few months. It may take a while for your body to get used to training at that intensity, so listen to your body and know you will need recovery time between training days.
Do I have to be fit to join?
No! No matter what your current fitness level is, we have the fitness program that is right for you. Every workout is designed to help you succeed, improve fitness, and move you toward your goals. Our program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience.
What kind of exercises can I expect during a workout?
Our class programming will include a strength portion in which you’ll work on something like Olympic weightlifting, deadlifting, squatting, or bodyweight strength or you may work on a skill like handstand push-ups. After the strength or skill portion of the class is complete, most days will involve a workout that was programmed for that specific day. Workouts can be anywhere between 5 to 20 minutes or more.

Do you provide free refreshments there?
We have filtered water available to our members. Other snacks and drinks are available for purchase.
What payment methods do you accept?
We take all major credit cards and debit cards. We do not accept personal checks.
