I grew up playing hockey and lacrosse—fast-paced, physical sports that taught me toughness, grit, and the importance of teamwork from a young age. There wasn’t one big turning point that launched me into fitness; instead, it was a steady evolution. My dad first signed me up for CrossFit, and from day one, I was hooked. I fell in love with the process—the constant challenge to improve, the mix of strength and skill, and the chance to compete not only with others but with the best version of myself.

After joining the military, everything leveled up. The structure, discipline, and demands of service didn’t just reinforce my commitment to fitness—they transformed how I approached it. The military instilled a deeper sense of drive and dedication, not just in CrossFit, but in every part of life. Through two deployments, I developed a level of mental and physical resilience I never knew I had. Those experiences taught me grit, determination, and how to show up with purpose—even when the conditions are far from perfect.

My passion for fitness goes beyond personal achievement—it’s about helping others succeed, both in and out of the gym. That’s what led me to pursue coaching and dive deeper into exercise science and pre-physical therapy. I want to give people the tools and guidance to push through their own barriers, no matter what they face.

One piece of advice I always share is simple, yet powerful: Don’t stop fighting for what you want. Whether it’s in the gym, at work, or in life, always give 100%. The effort you put in, day after day, is what builds the strength—both physically and mentally—to succeed.
